THIS POEM TAKES YOU BACK TO THAT DAY IN '1944..

...A Poem will make you think?..
So when you read this you will Remember them..

I have been sent this poem by a local men Derek Pritchard
For the Normandy Veterans here in Ellesmere Port.
The Day In '44, Shows' how the young men were fighting in bloody War with bodies never seeing the light of day  and How they landed on Sword , Juno and Gold Beaches and did n't see there day at Home, So that is why we remember them on the June 6th..

So Remember now though you should Pine.
for those pals so grand, who toed the line
That they gave their lives to save the nation.
And remembering, feel a proud elation
Where they left off, we carry on
Praise the Lord his will be done.
And we shall live........................
